Named for a small railroad operating in Pennsylvania which was eventually controlled by the Pennsylvania Railroad, "THE PANHANDLE" is the nickname for the "P" Company's Mainline from Pittsburgh to St. Louis and Chicago, via Columbus, Ohio.
THE PANHANDLE - VOLUME IV begins in Columbus and covers the lines to Cincinnati and Chicago through cab-ride and trackside scenes of the Penn Central and Conrail eras. A special feature included at the end of this footage are scenes along these routes shot during 1995.
