"Into the 90's - The Grand Trunk", Volume V follows the ex-Detroit Toledo Shoreline Route from Delray Tower in Detroit to Lang Yard in Toledo, including a look at Conrail's Stanley Yard in Toledo, which is also used by the GT. Locations visited include Delray, Ecorse, Wyandotte, Trenton, Monroe, and more! Also, an in-depth look at coal handling procedures at Detroit Edison's Monroe Power Plant is featured. This power plant, served by the GT and Conrail as well as lakeboats, receives over 9 million tons of coal per year by rail and uses rotary dumpers, conveyors, bulldozers, and "scrapers" to get the coal where it's needed.
