Locations visited include the Owosso Shops and Yard, Durand, Howell, Ann Pere, the Huron River Bridge and Ferry Yard in Ann Arbor, Milan, Dundee, and Manhatten Tower in Toledo. The Annies Alco switchers are seen, along with the then-newly delivered EMD GP-35s, but most of the program is of the roads Alco FA-2s in their handsome Wabash Railroad-inspired paint. You will thrill to the SIGHTS and SOUNDS of these classic Covered Wagons, seen trackside and in GREAT pacing sequences. Also of great interest are the freight cars of the era which are featured in many scenes. Along the way at Ann Arbor, Milan and Toledo, youll also see trains of the Annies connections New York Central, Wabash, and Pennsylvania RR. 42 minutes
