The action takes place in Ohio and Pennsylvania, starting in 1954 when steam was king. Articulated locomotives, Mikes, Big Sixes, and many other types of steam power roll past the camera. You'll catch the action at the Lorain ore dock where steam trains unload ships laden with iron ore and will also spend time watching the steam switchers at Rossford Yard in Toledo. Then you'll get a look at E- and F-units and Geeps in the classic B&O paint scheme. The famous Cincinnatian, which ran from Detroit to Toledo on NYC track and to Cincinnati on the B&O line, is extensively covered. You'll see it under steam and on many runbys headed by diesels.
